The collaboration process
There are a lot of “influencers” online these days and it feels like everyone just wants to get everything for free. Intimidated where to start?
Working with KALUOHS means that you’re committed to making something awesome. These are some FAQ, but please feel free to contact me so we can walk through the details together.
Do I need to have the whole idea ironed out first?
Not at all! The reason I call myself a “creative consultant” is because we walk through these steps together to determine the best solution for your specific needs. In certain cases, this might even mean referring you to another artist in my network who can do a better job for what you need.
Do I need to pay you commissions or royalties?
Not if you don’t want to. Each project is different and the flat prices quoted for the services may vary based on timing, demand, location, and more! For many collaborations, we start with a design phase and then work into completed designs, only requiring full payment upon project completion.
Alternative barters and payment plans may be negotiated on a case by case basis.
How does shipping work?
Generally, collaborations with KALUOHS are either ongoing local partnerships or digital designs which make it easy to print where it’s comfortable for you, so shipping isn’t even a factor!
In the case of murals, travel expenses would be required for any out of CFL projects.
Can you just be a guest on my show?
YES! This is one of my favorite types of collaborations. If you have a podcast, radio show, YouTube show, or any other type of media platform, I’d be honored to be part of it, free of charge*. (as long as it’s either virtual or local to CFL)
